PANGEO.

Did you know: back in time, the women of Korean villages would get together in late autumn and prepare large batches of kimchi, a staple part of the Korean diet. Once prepared, these women would load up all of the kimchi in large pots called “jangdok”, and they’d be buried underground for the entire winter to let the kimchi ferment. The world is filled with so many beautiful cultures, and within those cultures are beautiful stories and delicious cuisine. Pangeo is a meal kit delivery service that encourages its users to travel around the globe and experience the flavors and stories of every culture, all from the comfort of their own home.

Each month, the Pangeo service will feature the food of a different culture. While other options are available, users are incentivized to partake in the featured culture so that way they receive corresponding “Culture Cards” to go into their “Meal Passport”. The meal passport serves as a binder for your cards that reminds you of each and every trip you took around the world with Pangeo. On each card, one side will highlight a prominent location, and the other side will feature cultural facts that help build appreciation for the culture, all while the users continue to build their culinary skill and expand their flavor palette.
